Founded in 2025 by world-class fencer Nicolas Rousset, ORO Fencing Club brings together comprehensive training, and a strong community of fencers and parents committed to excellence.
At ORO, we believe that as a fencer learns the fundamentals, understands the nuances of the sport, and experiences the rewards of their efforts, their love of fencing grows. We provide a competitive and supportive environment where every fencer is challenged, supported and encouraged to improve.
ORO means gold. The gold standard is to enable every fencer to be their best, on and off the strip.

Nicolas Rousset
FOUNDER & HEAD COACH
Nicolas Rousset is a seasoned French sabre fencer with an extensive competitive and coaching background. He has competed at the highest level events. He represented the French National Team at World Championships and European Championships under the coach Christian Bauer who has more than 20 Olympic Medals as a coach. For the past 8 Years he has coached medalists at European and World Championships. Nico wants to instill the passion for fencing in the next generation.

Justin Petway
COACH
Justin Petway is a former NCAA Division I All-American fencer from New Jersey. As an experienced coach he is dedicated to helping athletes grow in skill, confidence, and love for the sport. Having competed at the highest collegiate level, he brings firsthand knowledge of elite preparation, smart tactics, and disciplined training to every lesson. Justin focuses on building strong fundamentals, developing strategic thinking, and creating a positive, structured environment where athletes feel supported and challenged.

Guillaume Ganascia-Lin
COACH
Guillaume was a member of the French Junior team participating in numerous world cups representing France. He won gold at AFM’s Div1A tournament and silver in the Men’s team event at Summer Nationals! While studying in a top French college remotely, Guillaume brings technical precision and knowledge to our fencers while both training and competing.
